I'm so grateful you're here.
The Honeytree Journal was created to be a place of encouragement, a quiet corner where we can grow in our faith together, reflect on God's Word, and be reminded that no matter what season we're walking through, we never walk alone. But the truth is, The Honeytree Market didn't begin the way it is today.
When I first started The Honeytree Market, I simply wanted something meaningful to fill my time. I had no idea what this little business would eventually become. Looking back now, I can see God's hand in every step, even when I couldn't. Over time, my heart began to change. As my relationship with the Lord grew deeper, so did my desire to share Him with others. I wanted people to know the same Jesus who has carried me through difficult seasons, celebrated with me in joyful ones, and remained faithful through every chapter of my life.
Around that same time, my husband and I began searching for devotionals to study together. While there were many wonderful options available, I struggled to find ones that truly resonated with me. I longed for something that felt intentional, beautiful, grounded in Scripture, and approachable for everyday life.
So I began creating my own.
What started as a simple idea slowly became a mission: to create devotionals, journals, and faith-filled resources that would encourage hearts and gently point people toward Jesus. That is, and always will be, the heart of The Honeytree Market. Growing in our faith matters because life was never meant to be lived apart from Christ.
Jesus is my Rock when everything around me feels uncertain. He is my refuge when anxiety creeps in, my comfort in grief, my peace in the waiting, and my strength when I have none left to give. I honestly don't know how I would navigate this life without Him. Following Jesus doesn't mean life suddenly becomes easy. We still experience heartbreak, disappointment, uncertainty, and loss. But it does mean we never face those things alone.
One day I heard someone ask a question that has stayed with me ever since:
"If you knew the cure for a disease, why would you keep it to yourself?"
That question settled deeply in my heart.
Jesus is the answer. He is our hope, our peace, our Savior, and the One who rescues us from sin. He is our Rock when life feels uncertain, our refuge when we're afraid, and our Shepherd through every valley. He doesn't promise a life free from hardship, but He does promise His presence. Through every trial, every joy, every season of waiting, and every mountaintop, He walks with us.
How could I experience that kind of love and faithfulness and not want to share Him with others?
My prayer isn't simply that someone visits The Honeytree Market or reads a devotional. My greatest prayer is that every person who comes here encounters Jesus and leaves with a deeper understanding of who He is and how deeply He loves them.
